PRS Scrubbers
The PRS family of scrubbers is designed as an on-press cleaning aid. The PRS family is ideal for daily clean up. Each PRS is compatible with your liquidcleaner of choice. Once the air valve is activated, the PRS removes the dried ink or coating from your Anilox roll or Gravure cylinder. Since each PRS is air powered, it is safe to use with solvent inks.
The PRS family can be used on all rolls with all types of surfaces. Stainless steel brushes are used for ceramic rolls and brass brushes are used for chrome cylinders. The PRS is available in 3 versions: PRS-1A, PRS-1B (adjustable brushes), and the Scotch-Brite equipped PRS-2C. Please refer to the chart below for specifics on each model.

Operation Instructions:
An automatic airline oiler is recommended, but oil can be added manually. Disconnect the tool through the airline before each use, or every hour it is used continuously. Excess oil will collect inside the tool and be blown out during the exhaust cycle. USE PNEUMATIC TOOL OIL ONLY. DO NOT use detergent oil or additives as these lubricants will cause accelerated wear to the seals in the tools. Dirt and lack of oil are the major factors for wear. Use of a filter/oiler combination will deliver better performance and longer life. The filter must have an adequate flow of 9 CFM minimum. Apply a few drops at least once a week to the trigger plunger mechanism. Replacement brushes are available. Maximum operating pressure is 90psi. Exceeding 90psi can cause internal damage to the PRS.
Note: Always connect your PRS to a dry airline and oil daily.
